Tammie Causey, Ph.D.
Dr. Tammie M. Causey is the CEO of Impact-Ed Enterprises, LLC. A professional educator with more than 30 years of service in the Pre-K-12, postsecondary, and the corporate sectors, Causey has extensive domestic and international experience in multi-state, cross-system education partnerships, postsecondary development of school leaders for urban and rural education, diversity, equity and inclusion, trauma-informed restorative practices, and cultural and linguistic competence.
The daughter of pre-Brown education pioneers James and Bessie Causey, her work with communities is shaped by her lived experiences of honoring, celebrating, and leveraging the community cultural wealth indigenous to rural and urban contexts throughout the state and extending to regional and international contexts. As such, she invites and engages constituents in the intentional co-design of experiences that help communities to identify, excavate, and utilize their cultural capital to advance not only the educational enterprise but also the growth and overall well being of the broader community. Causey holds a Ph.D. in educational administration and M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction from the University of New Orleans and has been trained in implementation science through the National Implementation Research Network
